Biography
Ela Franscella is a Swiss choreographer and multidisciplinary artist whose practice is dedicated to developing new forms of choreographic writing, performance, video art and the visual arts. In the early 2000s, she developed a distinctive methodology and professional training programme for dancers with Down syndrome. She founded MOPS_DanceSyndrome in 2008 and continues to serve as its artistic director, while pursuing her own artistic practice between Locarno and Paris under the name Elfa nel Sacral.
