Biography
lisa laurent is an artist based in Geneva. Her work explores the representation of her own body through a lens of reflexivity and self-deprecation. With a particular interest in the tension between control and overexposure, Lisa engages in a continuous deconstruction of forms—physical, emotional, and spatial. Her performances present fluid situations that challenge perception, highlight sensory experience, and encourage a deeper connection through acute and vulnerable emotionality. lisa laurent is the winner of the 2025 Swiss Performance Art Award for her piece *The Wizard Is Not Real*.
