Biography
Alexandra Maurer has exhibited regularly in solo exhibitions at Galerie Paul Hafner in St. Gallen since 2007. She was awarded the Manor Art Prize St. Gallen in 2010, presenting solo exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen the same year and at Villa Merkel in Esslingen in 2011. Her monumental video work Dance #4 was projected during an organ concert by Bernhard Ruchti at St. Laurenzen Church as part of Museumsnacht St. Gallen in 2023. Her work has also been shown at MABE Gallery (Geneva), Galerie Salon Vert (Carouge, 2025), Piscine du Lignon (Geneva), Geiler Block (St. Gallen), Hiltibold (St. Gallen, 2022), and I love #ArtisteDici (Geneva, 2020). She has received grants from the Landis & Gyr Foundation, the Société des Arts de Genève, the City of Geneva, the Canton of Geneva, and the City of St. Gallen.
