Biography
Julia Born was born in Zurich in 1975. She studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, where she has also been teaching since 2003. She works as a freelance designer mainly in the cultural sector, for Casco in Utrecht, TNT Post, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Metropolis M and with various artists. With fashion designer JOFF and artist Alexandra Bachzetsis, they work together at the intersection of different disciplines. In 2021, she is the winner of the Swiss Grand Prix for Design.
