Biography
Brennan Gerard and Ryan Kelly studied visual arts, classical and contemporary dance, literature, and gender studies. They are graduates of the Interdisciplinary Studio at UCLA in Los Angeles. Their first solo exhibition in a European institution was presented at Carré d’Art–Musée d’art contemporain de Nîmes in 2022-2023. Their work has recently been shown at Fondation Maeght Saint-Paul de Vence, National Gallery of Victoria Melbourne, Centre Pompidou Paris, Marian Goodman Gallery New York, Arta Sperto with La Bâtie and MAMCO Geneva, MOCA Los Angeles, Festival d’Automne Paris, and Getty Museum Los Angeles.
Their work is included in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum New York, Hammer Museum Los Angeles, LACMA Los Angeles, FRAC Franche-Comté Besançon, Carré d’Art Nîmes, and National Gallery of Victoria Melbourne.
