Biography

Juliette Uzor studied art and mediation at Bern University of the Arts (HKB) and completed an MA in Art Education at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). In 2019, she obtained a BA in Contemporary Dance at La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène in Lausanne. She has given performances at the Basel Historical Museum, Haus zum Kirschgarten (2022), Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, and Kunst Halle St. Gallen for Heimspiels 2021, at Kunsthalle Zurich as part of the group exhibition Sommer des Zögerns (2020), and at Ménagerie de verre in Paris (2020). Winner of the Manor St Gallen Cultural Prize in 2023, she had a solo exhibition at Kunstmuseum St Gallen, which will publish her work in 2024. A stage version of (ah ah ah),
in which Uzor was accompanied by visual artist Axelle Stiefel, was presented at Gessnerallee in Zurich in 2024. She won a Swiss Art Award in 2024.
