Biography

Initially trained in ceramics and dance culture, Cynthia Lefebvre graduated from ENSBA Paris, where she developed her sculptural work alongside performance, choreographic, and collective practices. She has worked with dancers/choreographers Sonia Garcia, Anna Massoni, Ola Maciejewska, and Emmanuelle Huynh. Her exhibitions and performances have been presented at CND Pantin, Le Louvre Paris, La Villette Paris, Centquatre Paris, Frac Ile-de-France Paris, Crédac Ivry-sur-Seine, Le 19 CRAC Montbéliard, La Crypte d’Orsay, Galerie Bertrand Grimont Paris, 3bisf Aix-en-Provence, Les Instants Chavirés Montreuil, La Manufacture CDCN Nouvelle Acquitaine Bordeaux, L’Arc-scène nationale Le Creusot, Lux Perpetua Art Center Merida Mexico.

In 2024, she presented the performances Bones Scores with Sonia Garcia and the ensemble UN at the Ad jardinum festival in Ligueux; Les os lourdes,
an astral evening at 3bisf in Aix-en-Provence; the film Bones Scores at the Festival Les Inaccoutumés at La Ménagerie de Verre in Paris; and took part in the group exhibition Manutensions at the Arc national stage, Le Creusot. Her work is part of the collections of FRAC Normandie-Caen and FRAC Franche-Comté.
