Biography
Babette Mangolte is a French American experimental filmmaker. Since the late 1960s, she has collaborated with performance pioneers such as Trisha Brown, Lucinda Childs, Joan Jonas, Marina Abramović, and Yvonne Rainer. Her films have been shown internationally. She was the subject of a retrospective exhibition at the Musée d’art contemporain de la Haute-Vienne –Château de Rochechouart, in 2019.
